VERY RARE Reproduction 57 Chevrolet left side dummy antenna for use when you are using an original 57 right side power antenna. When you have a right side power antenna, the power antenna is the functional antenna with an antenna cable. The left one did not have an antenna cable, so is called the "dummy". So, that's what this is, the left side "dummy" antenna. This was reproduced many years ago, but I don't think they make them any more. I believe it is a "Made in USA" part. If you have or are going to have an original right side power antenna, you need this left side one to be correct for dual antennas.

Cadillac issues XTS recall over fire risk

Fri, 21 Mar 2014

Cadillac is recalling approximately 63,900 XTS sedans over an issue with the brake booster pump. The company believes that the brake booster pump can create positive pressure inside the wiring harness which is attached to the pump relay, and this pressure can dislodge a cavity plug in the relay and allow corrosive elements to enter the connector, creating a resistive short. Cadillac believes that this could lead to overheating and melting of plastic components, and may cause a fire in the engine compartment.
