I am selling brand new NOS L&S 1957 Corvette and Chevrolet HD rear wheel (axle) bearings.

These bearings fit ALL1957 Chevrolet car models and Corvettes (with and without positraction)

These are premium quality L&S Bearing Company bearings manufactured in Oklahoma , USA. L&S bearings were the premium quality replacement bearing when these cars were in regular use.

These bearings are a heavy duty (higher load capacity) bearing with 9 ball construction not like the regularily supplied 8 ball construction style bearings.

These bearings were designed to replace the higher load capacity (wider) bearings used with positraction and come with a spacer ring to suit axle housings with the wider positraction style bearings.

Axles commonly have a diameter variation of .001 - .002" at the bearing surface. I will measure the ID of these bearings identifying any manufacturing tolerance variation so that you can selective fit these to your axles for optimum press fit.

Being a vintage mechanical component sold without warrantee as correct installation and useage can not be confirmed.

I have two bearings available (two bearings required per car).

Being sold individually (as a quantity of one).

I will combine shipping for multiple bearing purchases.

No Reserve - one bid and this USA manufactured premium construction high load capacity bearing could be yours !

Hyundai Curb Concept - on show at Detroit Whatever your opinion about Hyundai - and Kia, for that matter – we’d bet that it’s changed in the last few years. From dismissing Hyundai as the Lada for our age, you’ve probably come to accept, as have we, that they are churning out cars that deserve a place in the market. Hyundai’s offerings may not be up your street – you may prefer something with a posher badge – but what’s on offer with Hyundai’s latest models does need to be considered alongside much of the best from Japan, if you’re looking to buy in that market.

Fiat-Chrysler: A match made for enthusiasts

Fri, 17 Jul 2009

The Fiat-Chrysler marriage means big love for auto enthusiasts in the United States. Here's a quick rundown on some of the Fiat hardware we got a chance to sample during a recent visit to the company's headquarters and test track in Italy. Fiat 500: With styling that makes it look like the spawn of a Volkswagen Beetle and a BMW Mini Cooper, the 500 does an Italian job on both competitors: It's cuter than a Beetle, and likely less expensive than a comparable Mini.
