This is an original reinforcement plate for the trunk latch or lock which was used exclusively on all 1957 Thunderbirds. This plate fits inside the
trunk lid. The trunk latch is secured to the underside of the trunk lid by the four screws which go thru the trunk lid and screw into this threaded plate. Perfect for replacing a missing, or damaged reinforcement plate. But no spectacle was more thrilling that the run by Sebastian Loeb in the Peugeot 208 T16. The Peugeot 208 T16 (which bears about as much resemblance to your 208 as Loeb’s driving does to your Granny’s) gets a 3.2 litre twin turbo V6 with 875bhp, enough to hit 62mph in a scant 1.8 seconds and on to 150mph.
SsangYong Korando CSX Commercial: It’s a van – sort of
Thu, 15 Nov 2012SsangYong are continuing their Korando offensive with the Korando CSX Commercial, a van based on the Korando. The Ssangyong Korando is a decent effort to take on cars like the Hyundai ix35 and Ford Kuga, and now they’re having a punt at turning the Korando in to a ‘van’. But they haven’t exactly gone overboard with the detail and appear to have simply removed the back seats and painted out the back windows so no one can see what you’re carrying.
