1958-1959 Chevy & GMC Truck Original Hood Latch Panel. Mounting edge is bent, but no kinks and will straighten easily, as this is thin metal and radiused area is not involved. Very minimal surface rust in a few spots, Inspect the pictures closely, bent area is clearly visible in first two photos. Aston Martin wants the Le Mans title
Tue, 27 Jan 2009Aston Martin will challenge for the overall Le Mans Champion in 2009 Aston Martin won the overall title in 1959 – 50 years ago with the DBR1 driven by Caroll Shelby – and are aiming to bring the title back to the UK with the new car, which is based on the 2008 Charouz Racing System Lola, and powered by the same V12 engine seen in the title winning DBR9s of the last two years. The car will carry the famous Gulf Oil colours, and is being funded in partnership with Lola, Michelin, Koni and BBS. And this is a good time to pick to challenge for the title.
National Corvette Museum offers free admission to service personnel in November

All military personal--plus police officers, firefighters and their immediate families--can get into the Bowling Green, Ky., shrine to America's sports car by showing their service identification. The newly expanded facility features more than 80 rare and classic Corvettes.

Tue, 28 Sep 2010Reports out of Europe have Fiat considering selling a big chunk of Ferrari S.p.A. to raise cash so it can increase its stake in Chrysler Group to 51 percent. The Italian newspaper Il Corriere della Sera said it has gathered information at Fiat’s Turin headquarters and reported Fiat wants to raise cash to fund buying 51 percent of Chrysler, up from the 20 percent it owns now.
