Policy, green cars take center stage at Washington auto show
Thu, 26 Jan 2012Public policy and the ultimate impact it has on consumers' cars was the hot topic on Thursday at the Washington auto show, as companies vied to show off and explain their latest fuel-efficient technologies under the watchful eyes of regulators and government officials. Which does seem a bit of an odd place for a mainstream, high-end car maker to launch its new flagship. Fisker Surf Shooting Brake appears at Frankfurt
Tue, 13 Sep 2011Fisker Surf Shooting Brake Fisker will reveal a Shooting Brake version of the Fisker Karma at Frankfurt today, the first new model we’ve seen in the flesh from the eco-car company for some time. The Surf Shooting Brake is Fisker’s answer to cars like the Ferrari FF but is really their response to the observation that three tons of batteries in the boot oif the regular Karma only leaves enough room for a toothbrush and a pair of pyjamas.
