Here is a used pair of front power window switch electrical backing plates or switchblocks as some people call them. These are for the 59 and 60 Cadillacs with factory power windows. Your front power window switches plug into these on the backside of the switches and these supply the electric to your windows. The long one is for the drivers side window switch and the small one is for the front passengers side window switch. They look to be in decent condition, but I don't have a way to test them to see if they work or not. They both have a nice pigtail of factory wiring to splice into your harness. Once again, there are no switches being sold here, this is only the backing plates for the front power window switches. Free shipping anywhere in the US. Int'l extra. Good luck!!

Marchionne's dilemma: To sell or not to sell Alfa to Volkswagen?

Wed, 01 Dec 2010

Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne's self-confidence has helped him tackle problems that lesser executives would duck, but he may have met his match. In a public test of Marchionne's faith in his own turnaround strategy, in September Volkswagen Chairman Ferdinand Piech bluntly announced that he wants to buy Alfa Romeo. Piech was suggesting that VW--and only VW--could transform Fiat's perennial money-losing brand into a real moneymaker.

IAM Launches Assessment To Help Older Drivers

Thu, 26 Jun 2014

THE Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) is launching its Mature Driver’s Assessment – a way for older drivers to gain a trusted second opinion on their driving - and is available for motorists aged over 70. It consists of a 60 minute driving assessment, including advice on what action to take after the assessment. With the IAM keen to stress that the evaluation is not a formal test, the 60-minute drive with an IAM-approved assessor allows candidates to drive in their own vehicle taking routes that they are familiar with.
