Just removed from my 1960 Impala. I am switching over to non-power dual line, so I am selling this. This entire unit was working when removed, but due to age and condition I am selling this as a core for re-build, and there is no guaranty. I am pretty sure the main unit is in original condition, never rebuilt. The vacuum tank has had a previous repair, you can see the braising around the mounting bolt, (photo 4), but it does seem to hold a vacuum. There seems to be a small piece of metal rattling around the inside of the vacuum tank, it must have gotten there when it was being repaired. Original master cylinder is included. Even the vacuum check valve and hoses are included.

Toyota leaves F1

Wed, 04 Nov 2009

Toyota are quitting F1 It’s not exactly a huge surprise, but Toyota has announced today that they are leaving Formula One and will not be back in 2010 to take their place. With theĀ announcementĀ that Bridgestone are also quitting F1 after 2010, and the departure of Honda before the 2009 season started, there is going to be no Japanese involvement in F1. Which is rather sad for a nation that loves its cars.

Only the top is soft in new Audi A5/S5 cabriolet

Audi is bucking the trend among luxury automakers who are churning out hardtop convertibles, as the new A5/S5 cabriolets that will reach these shores in October will be the old-fashioned, soft-top design. While other manufacturers such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Lexus and Volvo, among others, offer folding hard-tops, Audi says the compromise necessary to make room for the top and all its mechanical apparatus makes a soft-top the right choice for a small to mid-size convertible. The soft top is well insulated; even during a steady rain during our first drive of the car, the cabin was relatively quiet.
