Here is a used piece of dash trim for a 59 Cadillac. This is the long piece that the finish on it looks like brushed aluminum and it has the word LIGHTER appearing in the little window on each end. It is in good driver condition, but not perfect. The finish on it is still pretty bright. It has one large pit on it which you can see in the third picture, and then it has a kind of dirty looking area that you can see in the next to last picture and I don't know if that dirty looking area will clean up. One of the lighter words looks dirty under it and I would suggest you remove the 2 screws on the backside, take it apart and clean it before using. It would still look very good in a daily driver especially if yours is heavily pitted because this one isn't. Free shipping anywhere in the lower 48 United States. Int'l extra. Good luck!!

Tribute to Briton killed in crash

THE GOVERNING BODY for UK motor sports has paid tribute to a "hugely promising" young British driver killed in a crash. Sean Edwards was a passenger in a Porsche when it reportedly hit the barriers at Queensland Raceway in Willowbank, west of Brisbane, Australia, during a private test session. The driver, a 20-year-old man from Brisbane, was pulled from the burning wreckage and is in intensive care with life-threatening injuries.

Warren Golf & Country Club Classic & Supercar event this weekend

Wed, 01 May 2013

There are plenty of supercar and classic car shows up and down the UK to keep petrolheads (and their families) fed with a regular dose of adrenalin and high-octane thrills, but it’s always nice to report on a new one, especially a new one that offers the promise of something worth making the effort for. The Warren Golf & Country Club, which nestles on the Warren Estate in Woodham Mortimer – far from the white stilettos and tangoed complexions of the more chavvy parts of Essex – has its first ever classic and supercar show event this Saturday (4th May 2013) and they’ve made a pretty good fist of putting an appealing array of goodies together. Max Chilton, a relatively new entrant in the F1 world, will be there together with his Marussia F1 car, as will be the entire Le Mans Jaguar XJR Team thanks to local specialists JD Classics.
