Here's the story on this. I had, for many years, a custom 59 Elcamino. I bought quite a few extra parts to have as backup, in case it ever got hit or damaged. Luckily, it never did. Now that I sold it, the new owner didn't want backup parts like I did. So I'm offering them here. These should be the door locks for a 59 Chevy. NO KEYS. I know nothing about them otherwise, as I never needed them. Mine stayed working. In big parts, I have both front fenders (inner and outer), both doors, both bumpers, both new full lower quarter skins, tailgate, front and rear glass, vent windows, and then a ton of small parts. Need something before I list it? Ask. Will consider a package deal. READ ALL SHIPPING AND PAYMENT RULES BEFORE BIDDING. MAILED PAYMENT OK IF YOU CANT OR WONT PAYPAL. NON PAYING BIDDERS REPORTED.

Ford resurrects Vignale name in an attempt to add premiumness to mainstream models

Wed, 04 Sep 2013

Ford is resurrecting the name of renowned Italian design house Vignale in an attempt to bring its mainstream models up market in Europe. Of course this isn't Ford's first experience of using a defunct carrozzeria for its range-topping models – remember Ghia? The first of these new models will be the Mondeo, which will appear with Vignale badging, lashings of chrome and quilted leather in Frankfurt next week.

Peters speculates that what he saw was a gathering of a varied Mercedes-Benz cars being tested, along with cars from other carmakers for comparisons.

Lamborghini LP 670-4 SV – the ultimate Murcielago

Fri, 13 Feb 2009

The Murcielago can in many ways be considered not only the greatest Lamborghini ever made, but also the last of the ‘Real’ Lambos. Just like Lamborghinis of old, it is still as mad as a hatter, but that madness is tempered by a dose of Audi build quality and common sense. Conceived before Audi bought Lamborghini, it retained much of the ‘Soul’ of the Lamborghini heritage, something that is a little lacking in its younger sibling, the Gallardo.
