SLOTTED MAG HUBCAPS

THESE  CAPS ARE GETTING EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND AND REALLY COOL TO DISPLAY IF YOU ARE RUNNING CUSTOM WHEELS.  TWO CAPS ARE INCLUDED.  THESE ARE OLD SCHOOL 14" SLOTTED MAG LIKE CAPS LIKE THOSE USED ON MID 60s CUSTOMS, HOTRODS, TRAILERS ETC. FROM BACK IN THE DAY.

ON TO THE DESCRIPTION.  WE TRY TO BE AS HONEST AND COMPLETE IN OUR DESCRIPTIONS AS WE CAN.   THESE ARE UNRESTORED CAPS IN FAIR CONDITION SHOWING THE PATINA THAT ONLY MOTHER NATURE AND FATHER TIME PROVIDE.  THEY ARE NOT SHOW CAPS IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM. THESE CAPS HAVE CHROME LOSS, SURFACE RUST, A FEW DINGS & SCRATCHES.  THE CENTER IS NOT THERE ON ONE AND THE OTHER CENTER HAS PITTING.  THAT SAID REALLY UNUSUAL & RARE FROM A DAY GONE BY.  COOL WALL ART TOO.  14 INCH

COOL EXAMPLES FROM A DAY GONE BY.  ON A SCALE OF 1-5 WITH 5 AS THE HIGH, BASED ON AGE, RARITY & CONDITION I RATE  THESE CAPS A 3  PLUS, OVERALL.  PLEASE LOOK AT THE PICTURES CLOSELY TO MAKE SURE THEY ARE WHAT YOU WANT AND NEED BEFORE BIDDING.  THANKS!

ONE OTHER COMMENT, WE SPENT A SEVERAL WEEKENDS AT SOME OF THE LARGEST SWAP MEETS IN THE MIDWEST OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS.  HUNDREDS OF VENDORS, THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE AND NONE OF THESE.  TAKE A CLOSE LOOK AT THEM.  WE ALSO ATTEND BARRETT JACKSON AND MECUM AUCTIONS REGULARLY. THE POINT IS THIS.  ONLY THE FINEST AND ULTRA EXPENSIVE CARS SEEM TO HAVE PERFECT TRIM.

I try to be honest about what I sell.  Almost all of these old hubcaps have imperfections.  Unless you are willing to spend hundreds for a set the best you can do are look for those in decent shape which these are.

WE SHIP ALL OVER THE WORLD AND COMBINE SHIPPING!

These old car parts are becoming more and more scarce.  After 9 years of selling over a 7000 items we've come to this conclusion.   If we can't sell the parts for a reasonable price, we're going to warehouse them. This is especially true of the nice parts and more unusual parts.  All they can do is go up in value.  Our point is this.  We've got the space and the means to collect and store what we sell.  Having said that don't be surprised if we run an item only once or twice and if it doesn't sell it doesn't show back up.  Please don't misunderstand us.  We want and do appreciate your business.  It just doesn't make sense to us to spend time and money relisting items over and over when almost all of these parts have only one way to go in the future.  UP.

PLEASE NOTE:  DUE TO SEVERAL NON-PAYERS WE HAVE ADDED THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT MEANT FOR THOSE TYPE OF BIDDERS.  WHILE THE VAST MAJORITY OF BUYERS PAY FOR WHAT THEY BID ON, WE HAVE RECENTLY SEEN A SIGNIFICANT INCREASE IN UNPAID ITEMS.  SO>>>IF YOU PLAN ON BIDDING PLEASE PLAN ON PAYING.   THANKS.  HAPPY BIDDING.

Used cars set for soft landing

Thu, 31 Oct 2013

THE USED CAR MARKET is set to see a gentle slow down towards the end of the year, avoiding the price crash feared by some in the industry. Experts at CAP Automotive say there are no shocks on the horizon as used car prices are not reducing as quickly as previously expected. This is due to high demand for quality used cars and limited supply.

MINI John Cooper Works Coupe Endurance at Nurburgring 24 Hours +video

Fri, 24 Jun 2011

MINI John Cooper Works Coupe Endurance- off to the Nurburgring It did take a while to drag the MINI Coupe – screaming and kicking – in to the limelight. Too shy to arrive fully formed, MINI revealed the Coupe at the start of the month with a modesty blanket of black and white swirls over its money shot – the helmet roof and proper little boot. But it took just two weeks for the new MINI Coupe to pluck up the courage to strut its stuff undisguised, and we were treated to a photo avalanche to celebrate its arrival.

Jaguar XFR – the Cat’s out of the bag

Sat, 10 Jan 2009

The XFR is Jaguar’s answer to the barn-storming saloons from Mercedes, BMW and Audi, and if looks and spec (and the experience of driving the non-blown XF) are anything to go by, the new big Cat should get the cream. The XFR gets the new version of Jaguar’s AJV8 engine, which is a 5.0 litre supercharged lump, producing a whopping 510bhp, with the usual limited top speed of 155mph, and a 0-60 of around 4.5 seconds. The New Jaguar XFR surfaces ahead of Detroit Visually, the XFR gets the ‘Aggressive’ look, with big, chrome-trimmed air inlets at the sides (a Jaguar theme?
