Up for sale here is a very solid rot free original passenger fender for a 61-66 Ford pickup. This is for the 1/2 and 3/4 ton trucks, not the big ones. This had a small bump in the front that I has pictured. That need a little work and the crack welded up. Other than that it has never been repaired and never had rot issues. I will be listing all my early and late Ford truck parts. Shipping will me $95 with Greyhound to the closest depot to your location. You will get a separate invoice from PaypPal for the shipping. Take a close look at the pics and feel free to give me a call with any questions. Thanks Dean 760-868-0592 till 9pm Pacific time

Ford site weighs F-150 against rivals

Tue, 27 Sep 2011

Ford has launched a comparison Web site for the F-150 pickup that illustrates how its truck stacks up against the competition--packed with video footage, testimonials and data. On the site, you can choose to dive into "torture test" footage of the F-150, or you can opt to complete the head-to-head pickup comparison test to find the F-150 engine that best suits your needs, and how it compares with rival trucks. First, visitors are prompted to select whether the engine will be used for work or play, how much weight it will be required to haul (up to 2,860 pounds) and how many pounds it will need to tow (up to 11,300).

Move over! Fixed Penalties for middle lane hogs

Wed, 05 Jun 2013

Move over or get a fine! Middle lane hogs to get fixed penalties It really is remarkable the number of drivers who think three-lane motorways are split in to three lanes – lorries, them and idiots in the outside lane – and spend their whole journey sat in lane two regardless. That’s bad enough if you’re driving a car, but it’s much worse if you’re driving a heavy goods vehicle that can’t use lane three and ends up baulked and frustrated by the man with the pipe and elbow patches driving ‘steadily’ on his way.
