For sale is an original Stromberg Carlson AM radio from a 1961 Ford Falcon.  It is part number FA-61PB indicating its application is for a 1961 Ford Falcon.  This is a Stromberg radio, not FOMOCO, which is a more relilable, durable, and quality radio.  This unit has been in dry storage since the 1970s.  It has been bench tested and works as it should and comes with a 30 day warranty.

This piece is all original and presents itself very well.  The ivory push buttons are in excellent condition and function exactly as they should.  The unit comes with one of the four knobs.  Everything you see in the pictures is included in the sale.

Audi RS7: 2013 Detroit Auto Show

The new Audi RS7 has been revealed at the Detroit Auto Show complete with the 552bhp 4.0 litre V8 from the new Audi RS6 Avant. With the same 552bhp 4.0 litre V8 the new RS6 Avant gets, the 2013 RS7  has permanent 4WD and can get to 62mph in the same blistering time as the RS6 Avant – 3.9 seconds – and on to a top speed of 155mph. That is unless you specify the Dynamic or Dynamic Plus package and then the RS7 can hit either 174mph or 189mph.

Porsche rejects BlueSport Concept

Porsche has rejected the BlueSport concept as a new entry-level Porsche The VW BlueSport concept debuted at the Detroit Motor Show in January, and offered the prospect of an economical, fun roadster from the VW group. But at the time VW made it clear that the car would have to work across three of its brands to be viable. VW are obviously up for the project, and Audi look likely to go along with BlueSport with the planned E2 Roadster.

As global automakers such as Porsche put the finishing touches to their show cars in the run-up to the Shanghai Motor Show on April 20th, sister publication Interior Motives is doing the same with its exciting line-up of speakers as it prepares to host the second Interior Motives China design conference in the city the following day. Scheduled to take place on 21st and 22nd April (immediately following the first motor show press day) at the InterContinental Shanghai Pudong hotel, this event will see the biggest names in Chinese, Asian and Western car design come together for a two-day program of interactive debate. Entitled 'China: Changing the landscape of car design', this year's conference will focus on the issues and opportunities facing both foreign and domestic carmakers as they search for commercial success in China.
