Part Number: RF105 USA made, reproduction kick panels for 1962-1965 Ford Fairlane or 1962-1963 Mercury Meteor Kick Panels with speaker pod. We offer kick panels that are 30% thicker than what is being offered on the market. Our kick panels are made with 0.125” thick Seville grain ABS material. While we have increased the thickness of our kick panels, we have made sure that they fit just as nice as the original kick panels produced by Ford Motor Company. The thicker material helps support the weight of the speaker assembly you choose to install. Our thicker panels also resist to warping once installed. These kick panels allow the owner to install speakers of their choice without cutting up your custom interior. These panels are very sturdy unlike some panels that are offered of thinner material. We form these panels with 0.125" Haircell grain black ABS. We machine the panels with a 5" diameter courtesy hole to aid the installer in the installation but the hole could be enlarged if needed. The kick panels shown with the speakers installed is for reference only so that the buyer may see what they would look like after the speaker components are installed. Speakers are not included. We used a Kicker DS600 Speaker (6" diameter with a 6.75" diameter grill cover, 1.875" depth of speaker) to provide you with reference. We recommend that you purchase your speakers after you have the panels in hand so that you can be sure your speaker purchase is the proper size for fitment in your vehicle. Be aware that the dimmer switch may be more difficult to operate with these panels. Most owners choose to move the dimmer switch inboard slightly to allow for easier operation. Color: These panels are only offered in black, however 60% of our customers choose to spray their new Rhino Fabrication kick panels to match their interior. Chrysler to begin building the next Jeep Grand Cherokee in May
Tue, 30 Mar 2010Chrysler Group will begin building the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee--the first salvo in an effort to restore a product-starved lineup--on May 3, CEO Sergio Marchionne said Tuesday. Marchionne told an industry conference in New York that sales of the redesigned Grand Cherokee will begin in July. Chrysler plans to have 100 percent of its existing lineup refreshed or replaced by the end of 2012, as a wave of new products derived from the alliance with Fiat S.p.A.

Ford recalls more than 26,000 trucks for faulty switch
Thu, 21 Jul 2011Ford Motor Co. is recalling about 26,700 copies of the F-series truck, Excursion SUV and Ranger pickup for a potentially faulty switch that could cause turn signals, taillights and brake lights to malfunction. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, affected vehicles include certain 2002-2007 F-250, F-350, F-450 and F-550 trucks and Excursion SUVs.
