This is the original dimmer switch, from a 1962 VW BUG,or Beetle. The car these parts are from had only 58,611 original miles and sat in a garage for thirty years!This unit works quite well,clicks are smooth,hard to believe it is that old. I am not sure on the years these are correct for, I think 62,63,64 to the 70s maybe more.Please look close at my pics, as returns are expensive for both you and I.I can save on shipping if you buy more than one piece,I will combine. Suzuki are seeking to get their shares back from VW The partnership between Volkswagen and Suzuki promised so much. VW wanted an easy way in to the car market in India – where Suzuki is very strong – and in return Suzuki wanted access to the sort of technology – hybrid and EV – it couldn’t really afford to develop independently. And all looked rosy when VW took a near 20 per cent stake in Suzuki in 2009 But things started to go a bit awry when VW insensitively referred to Suzuki as an ‘associate’, where it could pull all the right strings, in its annual report.

Designer Albrecht Graf Goertz dies

One of the world's legendary designers, Albrecht Graf Goertz, has died aged 92. Goertz was best known for his work at BMW, though he also worked with Porsche, Nissan and Toyota during his career. His most acclaimed works are the BMW 503 and 507 models - but Goertz also had a hand in the design of the 1964 Silvia 1600 Sports Coupe.
