“This is a rebuilt Mopar shortblock that has never been used or installed. It came from the estate of a machine shop owner and was part of his private stash. The casting number is 2129048. The casting date is 10-31-61. This engine is .060 over with a fresh bore and new pistons. The rotating assembly turns over very nicely. There is some light pitting in one bore from storage as shown. This is a nice, never used 318 poly shortblock.”

Subaru adds Limited trim to the Impreza for 2012, holds base-model price

Subaru is keeping base-model prices the same for the 2012 Impreza, starting at $18,245 with destination, and is adding a Limited model to the lineup. The Impreza 2.0i Limited model starts at $22,345 for the four-door version and $22,845 for the five-door. The base-model four-door Impreza 2.0i still comes standard with five-speed manual transmission.

Honda has revealed the limited edition Civic Type R Mugen 200 Back in October Mugen announced that there would, after all, be a Euro version of the Mugen Honda Civic Type R. But only in limited numbers – just 20 cars hand-built by Mugen in the UK. This Mugen Civic Type R gets some much-needed mechanical and supension fettling, but costs a somewhat hefty £38.5k.
