1962 OLDSMOBILE TAIL LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

THESE ARE ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND IN ANY CONDITION.  IF YOU'VE LOOKED YOU KNOW SO DON'T OVERLOOK THIS ONE..  THE UNIT IS A 62 BUT OTHER YEARS AND APPLICATIONS MAY APPLY.  LOOK CLOSELY TO MAKE SURE IT IS RIGHT FOR YOU BEFORE BIDDING!.  #59530343 PLEASE RESEARCH THIS IF IN DOUBT BEFORE PURCHASING IT.

THE TAIL LIGHT IS A REASONABLY GOOD UNIT WITH SOME DETERIORATION.  THERE IS PITTING ESPECIALLY ON THE TOP OF THE CHROME IN THE CENTER CHROME.   THE LENSE ITSELF IS IN GOOD USED SHAPE SHOWING TYPICAL WEAR LIKE SCRATCHES AND SO ON. THE HOUSING LOOKS GOOD.  ANYWAY, WE TRY TO MENTION AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE IN AN EFFORT TO BE ACCURATE IN OUR DESCRIPTIONS.

THESE ARE VERY HARD TO FIND SO DON'T OVERLOOK IT IF YOU'RE JUST LOOKING FOR SPARES.   I RATE THE PART A 3,  ON A SCALE OF 1-5, WITH 5 AS THE HIGH, BASED ON AGE, RARITY AND CONDITION. ONE OTHER NOTE...WE'VE RECENTLY ATTENDED SEVERAL OF THE LARGEST SWAP MEETS IN THE MID U.S..  HUNDREDS OF PARTS, THOUSANDS OF VENDORS AND NONE OF THESE!

I am honest about what I sell.  Almost all of these old parts have imperfections.  Unless you are willing to spend major money for parts the best you can do are look for those in good shape which these are.  In addition as with all of these older parts performance an reliability is untested and never guaranteed.  Hardware may or may not be complete and correct.

WE SHIP ALL OVER THE WORLD! AND COMBINE SHIPPING AND HANDLING COSTS ON MULTIPLE ITEMS.

These old car parts are becoming more and more scarce.  After 9 years of selling over a 7000 items we've come to this conclusion.   If we can't sell the parts for a reasonable price, we're going to warehouse them. This is especially true of the nice parts and more unusual parts.  All they can do is go up in value.  Our point is this.  We've got the space and the means to collect and store what we sell.  Having said that don't be surprised if we run an item only once or twice and if it doesn't sell it doesn't show back up.  Please don't misunderstand us.  We want and do appreciate your business.  It just doesn't make sense to us to spend time and money relisting items over and over when almost all of these parts have only one way to go in the future.  UP.

PLEASE NOTE:  DUE TO SEVERAL NON-PAYERS WE HAVE ADDED THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT MEANT FOR THOSE TYPE OF BIDDERS.  WHILE THE VAST MAJORITY OF BUYERS PAY FOR WHAT THEY BID ON, WE HAVE RECENTLY SEEN A SIGNIFICANT INCREASE IN UNPAID ITEMS.  SO>>>IF YOU PLAN ON BIDDING PLEASE PLAN ON PAYING.  THANKS.  HAPPY BIDDING.

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 13 February 2008 11:42 Porsche today unveils a new, more powerful version of its 911 racer. The GT3 RSR competes in GT2 long-distance races, including Le Mans, Spa and the 24-hour Nurburgring event and will benefit from new aero aids and engineering tweaks. VW Group planning 10-speed DSG, new powerful diesel engine & more plug-in hybrids

Sun, 28 Apr 2013

The end of the internal combustion engine is nigh, they say, as the world tries to clean up its environmental act and works towards a goal of electric motors to power our personal transport. But car makers are fighting that belief by extracting more power for less fuel from ICE engines, and there’s still a very long way to go before the ICE engine is consigned to the history books. Volkswagen has already reduced the fuel consumption of both their diesel and petrol engines by 30 per cent since 2000 and plan a further reduction of 15 per cent by 2020.
