NEW/OLD Stock!!!!!!!!!! VERY RARE!!!!!!!!!!! Engine CAM (GM pt#583875 ) This cam is for the 62-63 Starfire only, as the engine was different than other Oldsmobile models. Please make sure this fits your vehicle before purchasing. This is NOS directly from the dealer. It has been sitting in storage for many years. It has never been dropped or damaged. Comes in the original box from the dealer (weathered box). (Will be shipped in an outer box to protect the part during transportation) ------------------------------ In my attempt to liquidate my spare car parts, I do not have a regular return policy, however it is important to me that I stand by my listings. Some items are NEW OLD STOCK from the dealership, some may be used or remanufactured. I do my best to describe all the items condition to the best of my ability. If you have any questions please feel free to email me. These parts are specifically for a 1962 Oldsmobile Starfire Convertible. Please be sure if you have a different year vehicle that the part still fits. If you are unhappy with your purchase, message me and I will be glad to work out arrangements to rectify the situation. ---------------------- SHIPPING Everything is shipped via UPS ground, insured for the amount of final sale. In some cases I am willing to provide other shipping options, but any additional costs are paid by the buyer. Please let me know at time of purchase if you prefer other shipping arrangements. Due to awkward sizes and delicate parts that are very rare, and are no longer available from GM, and in many cases ireplacable, please allow for extra handling time to ensure that your parts will make it to you safely. ----------------------------- I have many more rare 1962 Oldsmobile Starfire Convertible parts in storage, in either very good condition, and many NEW/OLD Stock directly from GM. Please feel free to email me or call 978-535-4681 if you have any questions or are looking for a particular part not listed. Thanks, John Covey |

One Lap of the Web: preservation-class edition
Wed, 06 Nov 2013-- This video about a preserved Volkswagen dealership in Brazil is in Portuguese, and even if you don't know Portuguese, it will still make sense to you if you're a car person. (Or, you can activate the English subtitles on YouTube, as it's an interesting story.) -- What's the best truck for scaling vertical surfaces? That's right, it's the Unimog, and this week there's a 1965 example (that would be the oval-faced version) on the eBays with a rather realistic Buy it Now price.
Trevor’s Back! TVR sold to new British owner
Fri, 07 Jun 2013TVR sold to a new British owner, Les Edgar TVR – once the pride of Blackpool – effectively disappeared from the car scene in 2006 when its Russian owner, Nikolai Smolensky, shuttered up TVR just two years after he bought it from Peter Wheeler and last yeare announced there would never be another TVR. But it now seems TVR has been sold to a British businessman, Les Edgar, who has bought the rights to the TVR name and the right to manufacture parts for existing cars. So far, the only evidence of a return is a new splash page on the TVR website (pictured above) which tells us that TVR are ‘Roaring Back’.
Audi A1 Sportback concept: first photos
Wed, 01 Oct 2008By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 01 October 2008 21:35 Audi has whisked the covers off its five-door A1 – in the shape of this A1 Sportback concept car, shown to a few selected media and VIPs on the eve of the Paris motor show 2008. It's a follow-up to 2007's A1 Metroproject quattro concept, which previewed the three-door A1. Audi's new supermini is scheduled to arrive in showrooms in 2010; you can read CAR's full scoop on how the production A1 will look here. We'll have the full story on the new Audi A1 concept in the coming hours, but we can confirm the car's dimensions: at 3990mm long and 1750mm wide, it's actually a size up on BMW's Mini (3699mm/1683mm in One hatchback form).
