Hi , we have up for bid, A 1963-64 Pontiac Grand Prix, Eight Lug Rim, SPARE TIRE CLAMP DOWN PLATE. I was told this plate was used to hold the 8 lug rim in the spare tire location. I had the previous description incorrect, but thanks to a knowledgeable ebay member we straightened this out. I was also told this plate was purchased at Packer Pontiac in the 1960's.
