Audi A3 e-tron - this one's just a BEV It really shouldn’t be a shock that Audi seems intent on rolling out an electric version of every model in its range – an Audi e-tron for one and all. Well, perhaps not every model so far, but we have had a range of Audi e-trons from the A1 e-tron to the R8 e-tron. Now we get something inbetween – the Audi A3 e-tron.

Trouble at Bertone

It was hoped that Bertone would be exhibiting its latest concept, the B.A.T.11, in Geneva this year, a design inspired by the B.A.T.5., B.A.T.7 and B.A.T.9 concepts developed between 1953 and 1955. The car is based on the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione. But after receiving a release from Stile Bertone announcing the prototype on February 13, the company's communications department sent through another email stating that it would not, in fact, be attending the show this year.

The car's front - minus the hybrid-style closed grille - pretty much represents the new face of the sixth-generation production Jetta due on sale this November, and its syling is informed by the latest Polo as well as some recent concepts from the German brand.
