Saab: Vlad Rides to the Rescue
Sat, 16 Apr 2011Vladimir Antonov rides in with €30 million for Saab's coffers It was always an odd move by GM, or the Swedish Government, or whoever it was that decided the deal for Spyker to buy Saab could only go through if Spyker’s money man – Vladimir Antonov – stepped down. So, with new competition on the way from the range-extender BMW i3, Vauxhall are taking drastic action to try and tempt buyers in to the Ampera and are slashing prices by £3,500.

While a number of fortunate motorists have been getting petrol for around 128p a litre of late, the average price nationwide is 130.46p a litre, the AA said.
