THIS IS A 64 GALAXIE 2 DR HARDTOP. MY HUSBAND FOUND THIS BEHIND A FARMERS BARN. IT HAS A 352 4BARREL, AUTOMATIC AND POWER STEERING. I KNOW THAT THE ENGINE TURNS OVER BUT IT HASN'T BEEN STARTED YET. I WILL HAVE MY SON TRY TO GET IT STARTED TO SEE HOW IT RUNS. IT HAS SOME RUST IN THE BOTTOM OF THE QUARTERS, AND TWO SPOTS IN THE TRUNK AT THE BACK OF THE WHEEL WELLS. IT LOOKS LIKE THE FLOORS HAVE SOME RUST AT THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL AND AT THE SAME SPOT ON THE OTHER SIDE. IT HAS A PADDED DASH BUT IT IS TOAST, I GUESS FROM SITTING IN THE SUN. THE SEATS HAVE OLS SEAT COVERS ON THEM THAT ARE STARTING TO FALL APART, I AM NOT SURE WHAT THE SEATS ARE LIKE UNDERNEATH. ALL THE GLASS LOOKS GOOD. EMAIL IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS. Wed, 10 Oct 2007The Istituto Europeo di Design of Turin (IED) teamed up with Toyota to create "Prius of 2010-2015", the third year project of 26 students in the post-graduate Transportation Design Course. Led by Fulvio Fantolino, IED's Transportation Design Course Coordinator and followed in the various design stages by Elvio D'Aprile, Assistant Chief Designer at Toyota Europe Design Development, and by Tateo Uchida, General Director Research and Project Forum, the task to come up with concepts that, in addition to heightening the technological excellence, could stress the emotional element, an essential characteristic to conquer the European and world market. In all, ten projects were created and submitted to Toyota as the students' final thesis projects, showcasing a variety of different proposals for future ecological hybrid vehicles.
Ford offers $1 million in automotive design scholarships
Thu, 20 Mar 2014After the passing of William Clay Ford Sr., Ford has announced that they will honor his memory and his contribution to the automobile with the creation of scholarships for automotive design students. William Clay Ford Sr., the last grandson of Henry Ford, died last week at the age of 88. Ford worked at the company that bears his name for 57 years, serving as chairman of the design committee for 32 of those years.
