Since this is a fixed price auction, feel free to make an offer.

This listing is for the 1964 1/2 1966 Ford Mustang (top) hood latch locking pin or the 1967 1968 ( lower)  ood latch safety mechanism.  It has been stripped and plated and is ready for paint.

Please let me know which one you want.

Sorry about the shipping cost, but it has to have tracking info.  I can ship this  free if it rides along with a larger item, so buy more STUFF !!

These are original Ford, not some flimsy junk from China.

If you have a specific question or need, just send me a message through ebay, or call me at 214.882.5709

Shipping costs higher for Alaska or Hawaii.

Shipping:  I try to ship the most economical way possible, normally FedEx for larger packages, and United States post office for small stuff.  Local pick up is always available, and there is no charge for local pickup, payment due when picked up.

Combined shipping:  I ship items together that can ship together.  For example, I would not ship a crystal vase and an engine block in the same box, but I try to pack as much as I can safely together.  This can be a real savings for lots of large but light in weight stuff.

About me:  This is my hobby, not my business, so I do not need to make the mortgage or payroll off these parts.  This is what I do for fun, and hopefully make a litt on my extra parts.  I have owned Mustangs since 1969, and currently own a 1966 K Convertible and a 68 GT500 Shelby.

Volkswagen CrossBlue SUV Concept: 2013 Detroit Auto Show

Mon, 14 Jan 2013

Volkswagen has revealed a new SUV concept – the VW Crossblue – at the Detroit Auto show, previewing a new 7-seat SUV for North America. But this particular VW SUV isn’t heading to a VW showroom near you,┬áinstead┬áit’s designed to accommodate seven full-size Americans (well, six in the concept and seven in the production version) in an SUV that will be bigger than the Touareg, but less costly. Sitting on the (obviously very flexible, considering the size of the CrossBlue) MQB platform that underpins the Golf, the CrossBlue looks like it’s probably a stretched version of the next generation Tiguan, complete with VWs new SUV design language featuring a less flowing style with more angular lines and a blunt, statement nose.

Let-off for 29-point takeaway driver

Thu, 23 Jan 2014

A TAKEAWAY driver found using an unsafe car has been given 18 penalty points in one hit, but is still allowed to get behind the wheel. Ala Udin pleaded guilty to a string of motoring offences when he appeared before magistrates in Aberystwyth, Mid Wales. The 44-year-old father turned up to court with 11 points already on his licence and knowing that getting just one more would tip him over the ban threshold.

Ian Cameron receives Welsh Motoring Writers' Automotive Achievement Award

Tue, 19 Nov 2013

Former Rolls-Royce chief designer Ian Cameron is the latest recipient of the Welsh Motoring Writers (WMW) Automotive Achievement Award. The award was presented at the WMW annual dinner at HMS Nelson's Wardroom in Portsmouth, UK, by the group's patron and former winner, Land Rover director of design Richard Woolley. "As we celebrate a decade since the launch of Phantom and the establishment of the new home of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood, West Sussex, it is a most fitting time for Ian to be bestowed with this honor," said James Warren, Rolls-Royce product and corporate communications manager, UK.
