New Jaguar XJ – the last new Jaguar XJ tease?
Tue, 30 Jun 2009Mike Cross - Jaguar's Chief Engineer Vehicle Integrity - talks about the Driving Dynamics of the New Jaguar XJ This time we get a new talking head – Mike Cross, Chief Engineer – Vehicle Integrity – so I’m pretty sure he has a fair degree of knowledge on his subject (actually, as an aside, it’s Mike who will be driving the Jaguar XKR Goodwood Special up the Hillclimb this weekend. Final Bugatti Veyron 16.4 spoken for
Fri, 24 Jun 2011If you've always wanted a new Bugatti, you'll have to settle for the Grand Sport: All 300 cars in the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 model run have found homes, the last one having been ordered by a European customer who will take delivery next autumn. The Veyron came to life in concept form at the Tokyo motor show a year after the Volkswagen Group bought the rights to the Bugatti name in 1998. The Veyron was the first production car to have a full carbon-fiber monocoque, and its 8.0-liter W16 engine produced 1,001 hp and 922 lb-ft of torque, mated to a seven-speed twin-clutch gearbox.
Lexus LF-Ch preview
Wed, 02 Sep 2009Following on from a front three-quarter sketch released to the press last week, Lexus has given us a good view of its Premium Compact Concept from the rear - along with its proper name: LF-Ch. Equipped with Lexus's Hybrid Drive system, this BMW 1 Series rival will be able to run on both electric and gasoline when it goes on sale in 2010. The car's full volumes, raked-back windscreen and aggressive new variation on Lexus's corporate nose are visible from the sketch, while the new rear image confirms that the newcomer will combine the looks of a coupe with the practicality of four doors.
