R A R E ! !   1965 HONDA ALL MODELS MOTORCYCLE SALES BROCHURE

There are two different 1965 Honda All Model sales brochures.  The brochure that is on this auction and that is described below is the first one that the dealers received from Honda.  As you can see in the picture, the motorcycles are in color and the large red print states: "welcome to a new world of riding pleasure".  This first brochure has the Super 90 (S-90) pictured and the second brochure doesn't.  The first brochure did not have the prices listed and the second brochure does.  In the first brochure the CB-72 and CB-77 are described together with one bike picture, in the second brochure they have a separate picture and description for each model.  Honda advised their dealers not to give these brochures to their customers and to get rid of these brochures and they would send a new brochure to take it's place.  The new brochure that took its place has black and white motorcycles and the large red print states: "in the U.S. alone HONDA outsells all other makes combined".

Please email if you have any questions.

The brochure in this auction is the first one of the two brochures and is the one that is described below:

Ford adds new Fiesta Style; drops Fiesta Studio price

Thu, 07 Jul 2011

Ford Fiesta - seeking buyers further down the range Yesterday we got a new Fiesta limited edition in the Sport Special Edition and today we see Ford tweaking the bottom end of the Fiesta range to get more footfall in its showrooms. In comes the new Fiesta Style, from £9,995, which gets most of the cheap-looking bits on the body painted instead of being just plastic, and a few appealing toys like one-shot electric windows, driver’s seat height adjustment, remote locking and CD with aux in the standard kit list. Oh, and 15″ wheels with covers (perhaps that’s not such a big selling point).

Concept Car of the Week: DeTomaso Zonda (1971)

Fri, 26 Jul 2013

Not satisfied in producing one of the most astonishing sports cars of the ‘60s with the Mangusta, Italian carmaker DeTomaso asserted its ambitions in 1970 by presenting an even more striking sports car, the Pantera, alongside the luxurious Deauville four-door sedan, both powered by the same Ford V8 engine. Those new gorgeous models were the work of Dutch-born Tom Tjaarda, then head of design at Ghia. Despite those amazing cars, the styling house was struggling to make a profit and that same year, Alejandro DeTomaso sold Ghia along with a large chunk of his company to Ford, which was looking for that exotic Italian touch.

Problems with your McLaren MP4-12C? Have a ‘McLaren: The Wins’ coffee table book

Thu, 20 Oct 2011

Ron Dennis apologises to McLaren MP4-12C owners A couple of weeks ago we reported that McLaren was having some teething problems with their new MP4-12C but weren’t, despite reports to the contrary, halting production. The problems seemed to be mainly software related, with issues including warning lights flashing on and battery drainage issues, which seemed to be because the MP4-12C’s electronics didn’t turn off when the car was halted. But it seemed McLaren were working on the issues with the same sort of zeal we’ve come to recognise from their F1 programme, no doubt spurred on by the wrath of Ron Dennis.
