Eve of Eyes kicks off festivities for the EyesOn Design car show

Designers of all ages and and stripes descended on the ancestral home of General Motors styling on Thursday night for the annual Eve of Eyes event that kicks off festivities for the EyesOn Design car show. The spotlight event is always a favorite of designers to mingle, network and ponder their craft over drinks and light fare. This year, it was held in a fitting venue--the College for Creative Studies.

Tokyo Auto Salon 2012: Video

The three-day Tokyo Auto Salon held every January is the equivalent of the SEMA show in the United States. The world’s only sporting event set entirely to a period theme – no vehicles produced after 1966 are allowed on the circuit and its environs throughout the weekend – this year’s Revival will be bigger and better than before, according to Lord March. “The Revival is arguably the most popular historic motor racing event in the world,” Lord March told CAR Online.
