Mazda signs deal with Discovery Velocity to broadcast MX-5 Cup and other races

Wed, 22 Feb 2012

The Playboy MX-5 Cup is the best racing no one's watching, says Mazda, because it's not on television. The company changed that on Wednesday by inking a deal with the Discovery Velocity channel. Deep cable jokes aside, the MX-5 Cup does present some of the best parity in racing, as well as drivers racing for the love of the sport.

BMW releases videos 'outlining' 3 Series history

Tue, 11 Oct 2011

The BMW 3 Series has been a mainstay within the range for nearly 40 years, embodying the values and design direction of the German brand to become the perennial bestseller in markets worldwide. Over the course of the last four decades, the company has launched an all-new model fitted with advancements in not only mechanical componentry, but also design and safety, to coincide with the needs and desires of customers at the time. BMW 1-series M Coupe (2011) teaser video

Tue, 31 Aug 2010

BMW is continuing to build up the hype ahead of the launch of its next M car – this is a teaser video giving us our first glimpse of the undisguised BMW 1-series M Coupe What’s new is our first look at this hot 1-series’ butch bodykit, complete with an engorged front bumper and triple air intakes. There are CSL-alike 19-inch wheels too, and sitting between the cross-drilled front discs is a twin-turbo 3.0-litre straight-six, producing 335bhp and 369lb ft. Drive, thankfully, goes to just the rear wheels, and they’ll be a choice of either a six-speed manual or seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. There’ll be an M diff too, but we hear it might be on the options list as BMW’s money men fight to keep the list price under £40k.
