Condition:Remanufactured Placement on Vehicle:Left Part Brand:original Ford Surface Finish:painted black

The item up for sale is a restored 1967 Ford Mustang 4-speed clutch and POWER brake pedal assembly. This assembly has the correct original Ford power brake mounting bracket with only one nut welded on at the mounting area and an original Ford power brake pedal that is the longer pedal that is correct for power brakes. The power brake pedal, however, is an automatic one that I trimmed off the metal where the pad goes for the 4spd pad to fit. The pedal is the same otherwise. The clutch pedal is a new reproduction pedal so the shaft and clutch rod hole have no wear. From what I've seen this is more correct for a 67 without the brake light switch bracket on the top of the brake pedal. I disassembled it, sandblasted it, primed it and painted it black. Then I reassembled it with new pivot bushings along with some grease. I also installed new reproduction pedal pads with the correct disc brake pad and a new clutch pedal bumper. It also comes with the spring already installed. It will be carefully packaged and shipped to your door in a timely manner. All you have to do is bolt it in. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Thanks for looking and please take a look at my other items, too.

Tesla Model S owners will receive upgraded charge adapters

Mon, 13 Jan 2014

After a garage fire in Irvine, Calif., in November of last year in which an overheated charging system for a Tesla Model S sedan was stated to possibly have been involved, Tesla will be sending out upgraded wall-charger adapters to all Tesla Model S owners. This upgrade comes on the heels of an over-the-air software update for the charging system in the Model S sedan. Software version 5.8.4 would enable the charging system to automatically reduce the charging current by 25 percent if the system detects unexpected fluctuations in the input power, essentially slowing the charging current and reducing the heat created in any high-resistance connections if the car senses that the current is unsteady.

Tesla Model S fire – are petrol or electric cars safer?

Mon, 07 Oct 2013

Tesla Tesla Model S fire – are petrol or electric cars safer? Last week, a Tesla Model S all-electric luxury car like that pictured above caught fire. Lithium-ion batteries – similar to those powering the Tesla – have developed something of a reputation for spontaneous combustion in recent years, including notable incidents involving not only mobile phones and laptop computers but also the Boeing Dreamliner ‘super jumbo’ passenger aircraft.
