This kit is specifically for a 1967 Mustang equipped with a fiberglass hood.
This is a 1967 Mustang complete hood hinge kit specifically for a Mustang equipped with a fiberglass hood. It will fit a coupe, convertible, or fastback. The kit contains everything you will need to replace those old worn out hinges and stock hinge springs on your Classic Mustang. The correct mounting hardware is included to mount the hinges to the body and the hood. The hinges and the light weight springs are excellent reproductions and work perfectly. Hood hinges wear out over time. It is a good idea to replace them when performing a restoration. This kit will work with a fiberglass hood as fiberglass hoods require light weight springs or a prop rod. The hinge springs with this kit will not hold up a steel hood. Fiberglass hoods only. You will be pleased with the quality of this kit.
