But don’t be caught out by this red herring – Audi isn’t about to put a high-riding two-door estate into production as the next TT. Instead, this Allroad Shooting Brake is a smorgasbord of new Audi cues, hinting at everything from the new TT’s minimalist dashboard (which we saw revealed on CAR Online last week), to the styling direction of soon-to-be-replace models like the existing TT, A4, and Q7.

Rapid Response Required To Snap Up Limited-Run Skoda

THE RAPID might only have recently hit the showrooms but Skoda has been quick to wheel out two special editions of its entry-level hatchback. Boasting unique features and extra equipment worth thousands of pounds, the first of the extra special pairing is the Rapid SE Connect. The Detroit Motor Show will see Chrysler unveil its 2011 300. Whilst benefiting from an extensive exterior refresh, the platform on which it is based remains unchanged, meaning that this 2011 model is little more than a face-lifted variant of the car that joined us in 2004. The exterior of the 300 loses some of its forbearer's sinister styling; its imposing face has been substituted in favor of a softer, more rounded style, intersected only by the muscular wheel arches.
