MANUAL

Good morning, today we have a 1968 OLDSMOBILE - F-85 / CUTLASS / 442 / DELTA 88 / NINETY EIGHT 98 / VISTA CRUISER / TORONADO - ORIGINAL FACTORY SERVICE MAINTENANCE MANUAL up for auction.

The book is in a great used condition. The manual comes from a former GM dealership, and as such has been used by the mechanics in the dealership. It may have some dust and stains, and greasy finger prints on some pages

The book is large, and is approx 1 3/4 inches thick. It contains all the information that a mechanic needs for the repair of these type of vehicles.

It cover the following chapters:

GENERAL INFORMATION
LUBRICATION
HEATING & VENTILATION
AIR CONDITIONING
AIR CONDITIONING COMPRESSOR
BUMPER
SHEET METAL
FRONT ALIGNMENT
STEERING
FRONT SUSPENSION
WHEELS & TIRES
PROPELLER SHAFT & U JOINTS
REAR AXLE
BRAKES
ENGINE MECHANICAL
ENGINE COOLING
ENGINE EMISSION CONTROLS
ENGINE EXHAUST
AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
MANUAL TRANSMISSION
CLUTCH
CHASSIS ELECTRICAL
ACCESSORIES
Special Tools,

Even though this book is for a 1968 I am sure most information can be used for other year models as well, as there was not many changes between the years.

These books are invaluable if you are able to do your own repair work. A similar manual on a car I owned saved me over $800.00 on a repair that I could do myself, as opposed to having a dealer do the service work.

The book should pay for itself after only one use.

This book is a MUST HAVE if you are still driving one of these older model vehicles.

Unfortunately we are located in Canada, and delivery may take longer than if it was mailed from a US address - Delivery is usually 7 to 10 business days.

We have several similar manuals on auction this week and will gladly combine items for the lowest shipping cost.

Shipping & Payment

Shipping for this item is only $12.95 (USPS FLAT RATE BOX) for all areas of North America, except CANADA which is $17.80, with very secure packaging.

For payment we accept PAYPAL, .

THANK YOU FOR LOOKING

and

GOOD LUCK BIDDING

Is the V8 a dying breed? Auto engineers expect more turbos, smaller engines

Tue, 21 Apr 2009

The V8 engine, a symbol of power and prestige for more than a century, is looking more and more like an endangered species. A panel of powertrain experts speaking on Tuesday at the 2009 SAE World Congress painted a bleak picture for big engines in this era of tightening emission standards and volatile fuel prices. But smaller engines will not mean drivers have to give up performance.

Bentley Continental GT Speed (2007): first official pictures

Wed, 01 Aug 2007

By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 01 August 2007 07:45 Does Bentley never stop? Apparently not, and with the might of the VW Group behind it, little can slow expansion at the Crewe firm. It's just announced that in the first half of 2007 it delivered 5600 cars - and this year should be the first time Bentley breaks into five-figure sales.

Interior Motives China Conference 2011 – Day 2

Mon, 18 Apr 2011

Following on from the colorful discussions started yesterday, delegates returned to the Millennium Hotel in Shanghai for the second and final – and no less thought-provoking – day. Again the context for the discussion was 'The challenge of being different: establishing a local design direction for China's maturing market', with the day segmented into three distinct topics. David Muyres: As a car manufacturer, what's next?
