1969-71 DODGE TRUCK POLARA 15" HUBCAPS

THESE  CAPS ARE GETTING HARDER TO FIND AND REALLY COOL TO DISPLAY IN THE VEHICLE IF YOU ARE RUNNING CUSTOM WHEELS.  WONDERFUL CAR WALL ART TOO.  READ ALL OF THE DESCRIPTION AND LOOK AT THE PICTURES.

ON TO THE DESCRIPTION.  THESE ARE UNRESTORED CAPS THAT ARE IN PRETTY GOOD OVERALL CONDITION.  THE CENTERS HAVE A LITTLE PITTING. THEY ALSO SUFFER FROM TYPICAL WEAR INCLUDING  LITTLE DINGS, BB TO FINGERPRINT IN SIZE AND A COUPLE OF SCRATCHES. SOME OF THIS IS LIGHT CURB. OF COURSE, THERE IS ALSO A LITTLE PAINT WEAR.  ONE HAS LITTLE PAINT OVERSPRA THAT WILL CLEAN WITH STEEL WOOL.

JUST GOOD, OLD, HARD TO FIND HUBCAPS.  NOT PERFECT FRIENDS, NONE OF THESE OLD CAPS ARE.   PLEASE LOOK AT THE PICTURES CLOSELY TO MAKE SURE IT IS WHAT YOU WANT AND NEED BEFORE BIDDING.  THANKS!   15" IN DIAMETER. COOL EXAMPLES FROM A DAY GONE BY.  ON A SCALE OF 1-5 WITH 5 AS THE HIGH, BASED ON AGE, RARITY & CONDITION I RATE THEM A 3.

PLEASE REVIEW THE PICTURES CLOSELY BEFORE BIDDING.

WE COMBINE SHIPPING AND HANDLING ON MULTIPLE ITEMS.

ONE OTHER COMMENT, WE SPENT A SEVERAL WEEKENDS AT SOME OF THE LARGEST SWAP MEETS IN THE MIDWEST OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS.  HUNDREDS OF VENDORS, THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE AND NONE OF THESE.  TAKE A CLOSE LOOK AT THEM.  WE ALSO ATTEND BARRETT JACKSON AND MECUM AUCTIONS REGULARLY. THE POINT IS THIS.  ONLY THE FINEST AND ULTRA EXPENSIVE CARS SEEM TO HAVE PERFECT TRIM.

I try to be honest about what I sell.  Almost all of these old hubcaps have imperfections.  Unless you are willing to spend hundreds for a set the best you can do are look for those in decent shape which these are.

WE SHIP ALL OVER THE WORLD!

WE COMBINE SHIPPING AND HANDLING ON MULTIPLE ITEMS TOO.

These old car parts are becoming more and more scarce.  After 10 years of selling over a 8000 items we've come to this conclusion.   If we can't sell the parts for a reasonable price, we're going to warehouse them. This is especially true of the nice parts and more unusual parts.  All they can do is go up in value.  Our point is this.  We've got the space and the means to collect and store what we sell.  Having said that don't be surprised if we run an item only once or twice and if it doesn't sell it doesn't show back up.  Please don't misunderstand us.  We want and do appreciate your business.  It just doesn't make sense to us to spend time and money relisting items over and over when almost all of these parts have only one way to go in the future.  UP.

PLEASE NOTE:  DUE TO SEVERAL NON-PAYERS WE HAVE ADDED THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT MEANT FOR THOSE TYPE OF BIDDERS.  WHILE THE VAST MAJORITY OF BUYERS PAY FOR WHAT THEY BID ON, WE HAVE RECENTLY SEEN A SIGNIFICANT INCREASE IN UNPAID ITEMS.  SO>>>IF YOU PLAN ON BIDDING PLEASE PLAN ON PAYING.   THANKS.  HAPPY BIDDING.

Audi working with Mazda on Wankel for A1 e-Tron?

Sat, 11 Jun 2011

The Audi A1 e-Tron could be getting a Mazda Wankel Last year at the Geneva Motor Show, Audi showed us another in its seemingly endless line of fantasy e-Tron cars. But instead of being a pointless supercar with a pile of batteries bolted underneath to wreck the handling with all their weight – for the three feet you can actually drive with your foot to the floor before you run out of juice – this e-Tron was a different beast altogether. Not only was the Geneva 2010 e-Tron a properly sensible city car – the Audi A1 - but it came with a range extender so you could actually use this Audi A1 e-Tron beyond the confines of its electric charge.

Peugeot HX1 to go in to production as Peugeot 608?

Tue, 18 Oct 2011

Peugeot HX1 to go in to production as the 608? Big Peugeots have never really sold anywhere but France. So it seemed sensible when Peugeot revealed that the 407 and 607 would be replaced by the 508.

Saab says it will restart production after securing short-term loan

Mon, 02 May 2011

Saab aims to restart production within a week after its owner, Spyker Cars, secured a 30 million euro ($44.7 million) short-term loan to help ease its cash crunch. Spyker said it will borrow the money from Gemini Investment Fund in a convertible loan agreement with a 6-month maturity. The interest rate of the loan is 7 percent a year and the conversion price is 4.88 euros per share.
