You are looking at 18 original Mercury 1969 - 1970 Cougar Eliminator Styled Steel Wheel Stainless Wheel Inserts. This are the inserts that go on the Optional Argent Styled Steel on 69-70 Cougar's and 1969 Cyclone's. I had a full set of 20 of these and somehow 2 have been misplaced and 18 remain and instead of sitting in a box on my parts shelf I figured I should get them back out in circulation for some Cougar Eliminator or Cyclone CJ fan! These are in good shape with all of the tabs intact on them. Sun, 21 Jul 2013Top Gear tests the Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series (pictured) against the SLS Electric Drive We’re already halfway through the latest series of Top Gear – Series 20 – with tonight’s episode 4 leaving just two more show to go before the end of the season. Tonight we get Messrs Clarkson, May and Hammond looking for a solution for negotiating flooded regions (which just happens to be running in the longest dry spell in the UK for years) and it seems the solution is to build a car that turns in to a hovercraft. That will be the cue for the boys to appear in wetsuits as they take their creation for a trolley down the River Avon, a trip that will no doubt be more than a little eventful and wayward – hovercraft are not exactly point and steer.

Sat, 13 Sep 2014Toyota FCV (pictured) moves closer to production With anticipation and excitement growing stronger and stronger for the Toyota FCV’s release, we are now one step closer to seeing it on the road with Toyota gaining the government’s approval status for them to build and inspect manufactured hydrogen tanks that carry high amounts of pressure. This has been a large hurdle in Toyota’s race to produce the world’s first road legal hydrogen powered vehicle due to the strict Japanese laws that outline all pressurised gas containers should be type-certified and should be available at all times to inspect for an official safety inspection throughout the manufacturing process. Now that Toyota have been given the go ahead, this boost in plans means that they can now ramp up the production of hydrogen tanks that can store hydrogen fuel at 70mpa (700bar) pressure.
Porsche 918 Spyder hybrid supercar to be built

Porsche today confirmed it would build a limited number of cars based closely on the 918 Spyder - making it the spiritual successor to the Carrera GT, albeit with a green edge.
