This listing is for an International Harvester 8 foot "Styleside" pickup box assembly that is missing the tail gate. This type of box was used on some full size pickups as well as some of the Travelette 4 door vehicles built from later 1969 through the middle of 1975 when the production of International pickups was discontinued forever. I saved this box a while ago because the 50 inch or so wide corrugated floor center section is as close to perfect as one might ever hope to find without finding a box that was taken off of a truck back when it was new. This corrugated floor center section has absolutely no rusted out spots or any significant damage to speak of. As you can see in some of the photos, the right side outer panel has some significant damage and may not be easy to repair. There are no rusted out spots in either wheel well or in any part of this box from the back of the wheel wells ahead. The small floor side panels behind each of the fender wells have some rust holes at the front where they sit on top of the cross member that goes across directly behind each wheel well. I have shown that rust damage in a pair of photos of the floor directly behind each wheel well. I have also shown a photo of the rear of the bottom of this box but that rust damage is not very obvious in that photo. I have also shown a close up of the rust damage on the bottom of the cross member located directly behind one of the wheel wells. The opposite end of that cross member has identical rust blisters on it. Evidently, the rear wheels sprayed salt water up that accumulated on top of that cross member and under the floor behind each wheel well. That accumulation of salt water eventually ate it's way through the floor and the cross member directly under that floor. The bottom of the vertical pillar to the right of the tail gate opening is rusted through as are both bottom rear corners behind the side panels. There appears to be no rusted through spots on the back bottoms of either side panel. I bought this box a while ago with the intention of using the superb floor center panel to upgrade the box on the 1974 pickup that my Dad bought new. I later decided that that truck was too nice of an original "survivor" to bother with replacing the box center floor. Now I am offering this box for parts to make your box one of the best ones remaining today. I have about 50 more large and very detailed photos of this box that I can email to you if you call me or send me your regular email address. I do not wish to email them to you here through the eBay email system because I can only send 5 at a time and eBay drastically reduces the size of those photos. I have a lot of friends in the collectible car, truck, tractor, toy and sign hobbies and may be able to help coordinate delivery of this truly exceptional box depending on where you live and how soon y u want it. Thanks a lot, Bob Woodburn - phone 406-799-1847 in Bozeman Montana USA |

Volkswagen GTI Roadster Vision Gran Turismo brought to life and heading for Worthersee
Fri, 23 May 2014Volkswagen GTI Roadster Vision Gran Turismo brought to life We’ve already had Worthersee Concepts from Skoda, Audi and SEAT, but now we get the Worthersee Concept from the Mother Ship – the Volkswagen GTI Roadster Vision Gran Turismo Concept. VW has brought to life a car created for the virtual world of Gran Turismo gaming and has revealed a series ofd design sketches (above) before the real car makes its appearance at Worthersee. VW are calling the GTI Roadster a supercar with aggressive styling, and the GTI Roadster certainly looks dramatic (although that drama may well be a little less extreme when it arrives in the metal) and, just like the Skoda CitiJet and SEAT Ibiza Cupster Concepts, manages without a roof.
Mini Roadster
Wed, 02 Nov 2011Mini is set to add the fifth model to its family line-up in the form of the two-seat Roadster. Based around a similar concept to the recently announced Coupe, it adopts a sportier stance as well as a focus on a more youthful market. In ditching the rear seats of the cabriolet, it becomes the first two-seat convertible in the brand's history.
OFFICIAL: Spyker B6 Venator Spyder debut at Salon Prive – but you knew that
Sat, 24 Aug 2013The Spyker B6 Venator Spyder (pictured) will get a UK debut at Salon Prive It’s amazing how much noise Victor Muller can make for his Spyker projects, even though we’ve seen nothing of real substance from Spyker since the Aileron. But we have seen the B6 Venator – even if it is entirely someone else’s car under the skin – and as we revealed back in July, the open-topped version of the Venator – the Spyker B6 Venator Spyder – got its first reveal at Pebble Beach earlier this month. The Venator Spyder is now heading for a proper public debt at Geneva, but as we exclusively reported back in June (well, we reported the whisper on the grapevine) Victor Muller is heading for a lobster and Champagne weekend at Salon Prive first to show the Venator Spyder.
