Corvette ZR1 price bombshell
Thu, 25 Sep 2008By Greg Fountain Motor Industry 25 September 2008 14:37 General Motors has pitched the Corvette into the price stratosphere by announcing that the 206mph ZR1 will retail at an eye-watering £109,000 in the UK. New cars can save drivers up to 25%
Wed, 03 Sep 2014BUYING a new car instead of a secondhand one could save drivers as much as 25% on their motoring costs in the first year of ownership. These savings come from cheaper insurance, lower road tax costs, improved fuel economy and no MoT test. Comparing a brand new Volkswagen Golf with a five-year old model, the new car reduces the annual spend on motoring from £1689 to £1267, saving £422 in the first year of ownership.
Mercedes C63 AMG estate (2007): first official pictures
Wed, 05 Sep 2007By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 05 September 2007 00:01 The Mercedes C63 AMG estate looks nice then… That is does, being better resolved and (slightly) more understated than the saloon. But don’t for one moment let the big boot fool you, because this car has 451bhp and 443lb ft. The C63’s 6.2-litre V8 is a great engine and it will rocket Mercedes’ latest load-lugger from rest to 62mph in 4.6 seconds.
