Pruett Vineyard releases wine celebrating the Rolex 24 at Daytona anniversary

Race-car driver Scott Pruett is a master in the vineyard as well as at the track, and his Pruett Vineyard has released four new vintages this fall in time for the gift-giving seasons. The recent releases include a 2008 Pruett Napa Cab, a 2010 Pruett Grenache, a 2009 Lucky Lauren Red and a 2009 Pruett Estate Syrah--which tastes of purple fruits with traces of ginger and black pepper--that commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Rolex 24 at Daytona. Audi has released details of the A5 Sportback that will launch in the UK in September Audi are on a mission to fill every niche that exists – and some that don’t – in order to reach their goal of selling 1.5 million cars a year by 2015. Set to go on sale in the UK and Europe (but not the US) after the Frankfurt Motor Show in September, the Audi A5 Sportback is said to offer the practicality of an estate with the elegance of a Coupe. And in many ways it does offer that.

Ahead of that reveal – with a likely on-sale date of early 2014 – Jaguar are out playing with the F-Type Coupe at the Nurburgring, blatting it round the ‘Ring’s unforgiving surfaces and bends to shake the last niggles out before launch. This particular F-Type is undoubtedly the V8 S – which we expect will get the same 495bhp output as the V8 S Roadster – and it sounds great; a wonderful V8 roar as it pounds round the track.
