Peugeot 207 Sportium Limited Edition
Wed, 27 Oct 2010The Peugeot 207 Sportium It’s moving metal time again; that slow old time that starts once the new September registration fever has worn off, and before the new year arrives. And one of the best ways to move metal – or at least get punters to come and have a look – is to launch a limited edition model with some cut-price kit bolted on. So we get the Peugeot 207 Sportium, which Peugeot says “…builds on the already comprehensive standard specification of the previous special edition 207 Millesim model”.
Opel Antara
Mon, 15 May 2006Opel unveiled their new SUV at the opening of the new design center in Germany last week. Taking cues from the Antara GTC concept shown in Frankfurt last year, the production version shares its platform with the Chevrolet Captiva. More premium-feeling than the Captiva, the Antara combines the concept's "stylish-body-on-rugged-base" theme with shorter overhangs than the Chevrolet, though the roofline rises to accommodate the two additional doors.
CPP to buy Browns Lane
Fri, 02 Sep 2011CPP are off to Browns Lane - where every E-Type Jaguar was built As regular readers will know, we’re big fans of CPP and are always happy to big them up at the drop of a hat, even before they acquired Vladimir Antonov’s money and set forth on a mission to buy up the world’s niche car makers. So with solid funding from ‘Vlad the Investor’, CPP are on a fast road to being a sizeable force in world car manufacture; not in the volume sense, but certainly in the impact their products are making. Despite pointing out to us that they haven’t actually bought Zagato (technically correct) Zagato is now very much part of the CPP portfolio, as is extreme off-roader Bowler – a more recent acquisition – both solid names to exploit in a high-end car maker future Nirvana.
