Sat, 10 Sep 2011Ford Fiesta ST - expected at Frankfurt There was a time when it seemed likely Ford would abandon all plans for a hot Fiesta. They seemed convinced that a Fiesta ST would be anathema in our seemingly eco-obsessed times, but fortunately they’ve had a change of heart. We reported back in September 2010 – after we had spy shots of what appeared to be the new Fiesta ST – that Ford were planning to cash-in on their WRC Fiest profile to finally bring us a Fiesta with a bit more get-up-and-go than the Zetec S could manage.
Film Friday: Auburn Speedster tackles the Bonneville Salt Flats
Fri, 25 Apr 2014Inspired by a recent trip to the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum in Auburn, Ind. (more to come on that soon!), we're diving into the historical film archives for some A-C-D goodness. And it doesn't really get any better than vintage footage of the classic Auburn 851 Boattail Speedster tearing up the Bonneville Salt Flats circa 1935 followed by a demonstration of the big Duesenberg streamliner, “The Mormon Meteor” thundering across the lake bed.
TVR to shut British factory

But the company vows that the brand will live on though, with production moving overseas. The workforce was told the news this morning (Wednesday 18).
