OEM air conditioning/heater control panel out of a 1977 Trans Am. Correct for all 1976-1979 Trans Am, Formula, or Firebird, but will fit other years. Also included is the control cable and the vacuum line set. Panel looks really good and operates smoothly. Part is ready to install with just a little cleaning. Great for a driver or for restoration. Ford, Hyundai, Toyota lead industry to 15 percent gain
Tue, 05 Jan 2010Ford, Toyota, Subaru and Hyundai Group spurred a year-end U.S. sales rally that took some sting out of a painful year. Overall, December sales of 1,030,096 light vehicles rose 15 percent from December 2008, when the credit crisis and a deepening recession dragged industry demand to 27-year lows.

Thu, 03 Apr 2014The new Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV (pictured) goes on sale in the UK The Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV arrived at the Paris Motor Show in 2012, and although it’s already available in Europe it’s only now going on sale in the UK. And it does offer a compelling package. Mitsubishi say the Outlander PHEV is the most practical vehicle qualifying for the UK’s £5,000 grant for low emission cars, and instead of charging really silly prices for their new plug-in hybrid Mitsubishi have pitched it so buyers pay no more at entry-level (after the grant) than they would for its diesel equivalent.

Thu, 07 Jan 2010The Subaru Impreza WRX STI launches in Japan Subaru has announced a limited run of 400 Subaru Impreza WRX STI 205 which will go on sale in Japan. It won’t please Subaru Impreza nuts in the UK as they’ll get no chance to get their hands on one, but for those in Japan it’s great news. Unlike the rather lame Subaru WRX STI Carbon (or Impreza Pipe & Slippers as we like to think of it), the R205 is hard-core. Subaru has plucked a chunk of bits from the ‘Spec C’ bin to create the R205.
