1970 AAR Cuda Air Cleaner Assembly This is an original OEM piece that is more than 43 years old. It includes the air cleaner lid, and the Base as pictured, It also includes the rubber lip gasket, as well as a used air cleaner, included for shipping purposes. It is identical in all respects to the one currently on my 1970 AAR Cuda. The lid that is included, shows a closeup ( of the edge) so you can see that this is a correct piece. For those needing functionality, this is a truly functional and stock piece, that could be restored to factory new condition. It could be used for show or go you decide. I have even included the factory tape piece, that held the rubber lip gasket together from the factory. MIT researchers rethink electric-car batteries
Wed, 08 Jun 2011Researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology say a new battery design for electric vehicles could be a lightweight and inexpensive alternative. The goal for the team's three-year project, launched in September 2010, is to have a functioning prototype ready to be engineered as a replacement for existing electric-car batteries. At this point in the project, the prototype uses a “semi-solid flow” to separate the two functions of a battery--storing energy and discharging it when needed--into separate physical structures.
Toyota recalls Highlander and Lexus hybrids, IS and GS sedans
Wed, 04 Sep 2013Toyota announced two recalls on Wednesday that include 369,000 vehicles worldwide, 235,000 of which are in the United States. The hybrids have a problem with a transistor, while the 3.5-liter V6 is having problems with its variable valve timing control device. The first recall includes Highlander Hybrid models from 2006-2010 and the Lexus RX 400h from 2006-2008.
Codemasters extends game agreement with Formula One
Wed, 14 Mar 2012Codemasters will continue as makers of the Formula One video game, the company said on Tuesday. It extended its deal with F1 honcho Bernie Ecclestone and friends and will work to expand the F1 video-game line across new platforms and to new audiences in the coming years. Codemasters was founded in 1986 by game-designing brothers Richard and David Darling.
