1970 AAR Cuda Air Cleaner Assembly This is an original OEM piece that is more than 43 years old. It includes the air cleaner lid, and the Base as pictured, It also includes the rubber lip gasket, as well as a used air cleaner, included for shipping purposes. It is identical in all respects to the one currently on my 1970 AAR Cuda. The lid that is included, shows a closeup ( of the edge) so you can see that this is a correct piece. For those needing functionality, this is a truly functional and stock piece, that could be restored to factory new condition. It could be used for show or go you decide. I have even included the factory tape piece, that held the rubber lip gasket together from the factory. ( it holds nothing together anymore but serves as a mock-up) If you are looking at this item, you should know that the last one listed was a bare base only, and did not have a lid or gasket included, it sold in the $3000.00 Range.  I will Include Free Shipping (Only for Buy It Now) This covers you the buyer for any possible shipping damages as well. I will Ship Outside of the United States, but you must contact me, and realize that the shipping rates, are for those in the USA, foreign buyers, must pay and additional shipping Charge, which I will not mark-up and must also carry a damage insurance as well, for the full purchase price. Both Ford and Vauxhall celebrated their 100-year anniversaries in 2003, but despite much of the attention being focused on the American giant, GM's UK subsidiary unveiling its own birthday present: the VX Lightning. Revealed at the Dorchester Hotel in London in May, the Vauxhall Lightning concept was a joint project between the GM North America (GMNA) Advanced Design Studio in England and the Opel/Vauxhall Design Center in Rüsslesheim, Germany. The Vauxhall ‘V' brand motif is a recurring theme throughout the car, despite the company's relative lack of global recognition.

Jaguar C-X75: Jaguar’s Hypercar stillborn

Tue, 11 Dec 2012

The Jaguar C-X75 hybrid hypercar will not go in to production. Jaguar cite the poor economic outlook is behind the decision to scrap the C-X75. But the gas turbines soon bit the dust as Jaguar realised the technology was just not mature enough for a production car, so they replaced the gas turbines with a 1.6 litre turbocharged and supercharged petrol engine charging the batteries that powered the two electric motors, one on each axle.
