Stillwater, Minnesota, United States
Here's a very clean refinished original used pair of 1970 Challenger grille center upper support brackets, that support the top of grille rail to the hood latch tray area. A left and right pair, with original bolts to grille. These were bead blasted clean, then put in a semi-gloss black paint. Look very nice. Some critical support pieces for the 70 Challenger grille, that I don't think are available anywhere in reproduction.
Brand:ORIG MOPAR, 1970 CHALLENGER, R/T, T/A Surface Finish:REAL CLEAN, BLASTED AND RE-PAIANTED BLACK Manufacturer Part Number:BOLTS TO CENTER UPPER RAIL OF GRILLE. Country/Region of Manufacture:United States Other Part Number:SUPPORTS GRILLE TO HOOD LATCH TRAY AREA Warranty:Yes Placement on Vehicle:Left, Right

Up for your auction bids is this very nice refinished original used pair (left and right) of 1970 Challenger upper center grille support brackets, with attaching bolts to grille.  These brackets attach to the upper flat rail of grille, in center opening area, and then attach to the hood latch support  tray as I recall.  Some very important brackets to properly support the top center area of grille.  They measure approximately 3" long, and approx. 1-1/4" wide.

Featured 1970 Challenger grille support brackets have both been bead blasted nice and clean and then painted a proper satin black color.  They are a left and right matched pair, and are not bent, altered, rusty, or badly pitted.  The paint has no damage or wear.  Bolts are original and in great shape too.

Some very nice brackets here, that are not easy pieces to find for these desirable cars.  Not available in any reproduction format that I know of either, so don't miss these here at my realistic opening bid price.  My only pair of these.  Thanks for stopping in to look and bid!

Stunning pictures of classic cars in Paris

Fri, 07 Feb 2014

The classic car market is booming and there have been not one, but two, auctions of beautiful historic cars in Paris in the past week alone. We've already reported on the inaugural RM Auctions Paris sale, which saw nearly £15 million's worth of the world’s rarest and most exotic cars going under the hammer, including a Jaguar D-type that sold for more than £3 million. The other was the annual Bonhams Les Grand Marques du Monde au Grand Palais car auction.

Toyota ME.WE concept

Wed, 24 Apr 2013

Toyota and leading European industrial designer Jean-Marie Massaud have developed a new electric car concept, dubbed the ME.WE. Developed at Toyota's ED2, Massaud and Toyota wanted the ME.WE – named after personal wellbeing and that of others – to be adaptable to suit a range of lifestyles while being high quality. It also had to "propose an alternative synthesis based on personal choices about vehicle architecture, lower running costs and the way the vehicle will be used".
