I have a good used 307 SBC engine. It was in a 1970 Chevy Nova. Ran good when pulled out, no smoke, no oil drips. Complete , with Distributer, 2b carb and starter. Was cast in1968, ser. # 18W289669, Eng. Mod.#V02I7DE. Had a power glide hooked to it. Not sure about miles, Speedo shows 127,000. Also comes with an HEI distributor which is not stock if wanted. Engine has been stored inside all the time, never out side. I has been turned every few months, has all holes covered, the pictures tell story. If not in northwest Indiana you must pick up. Fri, 09 Apr 2010Top Gear tackle a live Volcano in a Toyota in Iceland Top Gear is off air at the moment – if you don’t count the endless repeats on BBC2, BBC3 and Dave – and that usually means that the boys are off somewhere exotic. And so they are – this time to an active volcano in Iceland. It looks as if the boys have take the same Toyota they used in the trip to the North Pole – with May and Clarkson in the Toyota and Hamster on a sled – and done a modification or three to suit the heat instead of the cold.

Mon, 24 Mar 2014In addition to holiday-themed displays assembled by junkyard employees and the occasional sad, flood-victim Volvo Amazon, I frequently find homemade mix CDs and cassette tapes while prowling through wrecking yards. In fact, it would be possible to go into just about any high-inventory-turnover self-service wrecking yard in North America and come away with several dozen such discs and tapes, if anybody ever felt motivated to do such a thing. I haven't, yet.

After previous admissions that Ingolstadt wouldn’t build the R8 V12 TDi or an electric successor to the A2, CAR can now reveal that a production version of the Quattro concept first seen at the 2012 Paris motor show has also been canned. However, a high performance Quattro-inspired coupe could still see the light of day, in the form of a Range Rover Evoque-style crossover, CAR understands.
