McLaren slows MP4-12C production for fixes
Wed, 05 Oct 2011British supercar maker McLaren has slowed production of the MP4-12C because of quality issues. The company says the problems are not safety- or performance-related. "There are no safety concerns for the delay," Tony Joseph, director of McLaren North America, told Autoweek.

Aimed squarely at the Audi A5 and BMW 3-series Coupé set, the new 2011 C-class coupé will revive the CLK range which many had written off after the arrival of the new E-class Coupé.In line with the new CL being rebranded S-class Coupé, the new two-door C will be badged C-class Coupé. The Yeti range starts with the Yeti S 1.2 TSI 105PS at £16,600 and tops out at the Yeti Outdoor L&K 2.0 TDI 140PS 4×4 DSG at £27,050, with three trim levels – S, SE and Elegance – available across both the Yeti and Yeti Outdoor, with the Outdoor also getting a range-topping L&K trim level. Engines on offer include the aforementioned 1.2 TSI and 2.0 CDI with the 1.6 TDI, 1,8 TSI and three versions of the 2.0 TDI – 110PS, 140PS and 170PS – available.
