Volvo sets prices for 2010 models
Tue, 09 Jun 2009Volvo Cars of North America has set prices on its 2010 models. On Monday, the automaker released a pricing list that ranges from an S80 V8 AWD A for $51,800 to a C30 T5 manual for $24,950, including the $850 shipping charge. Volvo has also set the price for its newest version of the XC60.
Cadillac to auction first '14 CTS V-Sport to charity
Fri, 24 May 2013General Motors said Wednesday that it will be donating the first production model of the 2014 Cadillac CTS V-Sport to the SAE Foundation. The car will then be auctioned at Barrett-Jackson later this year with the proceeds going to the foundation's science, technology, engineering and mathematics student programs. The CTS V-Sport, or as Cadillac officially spells it, Vsport, was revealed earlier this year at the New York Auto Show.
Audi R8 GT (2010): first news of lightweight R8
Sat, 01 May 2010Audi has shown the new R8 GT – a limited-edition model to sit atop the R8 supercar family. The GT is 100kg lighter, thanks to some body parts made from carbonfibre and its V10 engine is tuned up to Gallardo-nibbling spec. With 552bhp and 398lb ft, the R8 GT will be considerably faster than the standard R8 5.2 FSI V10.
