This Genuine General Motors Rebuilt Delco alternator is GM #1100557, Delco #s 51-D and 1993777 which was later renumbered to 323-876. This is a factory rebuilt alternator used on 1971 Cadillac Calais, DeVille, Eldorado, and Fleetwood models with either the 472 CID or 500 CID engines with 63 Amp. alternators. 1971 CADILLAC All Model V8-472 - 63 AMP - ALT #1100557 1971 CADILLAC All Models V8-500 - 63 AMP - ALT #1100557 This alternator has a stamped in date code of 0 H 26, meaning 1970, Aug, 26th day; manufactured for the 1971 model year. If you have an early '71, this alternator is assembly line correct for your car. It is also stamped with the part # 1100557, 63A, and 12V NEG please see the tenth picture. According to the ink date stamp, it was re-manufactured or factory rebuilt on 3 K 24 which translates to 1973 Oct 24tth day, please see picture 9. The third picture indicates that Burt Stout packaged this alternator in 10 73. This alternator is in excellent condition and has no rust, no corrosion, or any other issues. Mercedes-Benz to use Maybach name for range-topping S-class
Wed, 15 Jan 2014Mercedes-Benz will be bringing back the Maybach name for the extra-long-wheelbase S-class, which is expected to go on sale by the end of this year. This version of the S-class will be a third bodystyle (out of an eventual total of four), and will be positioned above the V12-powered S600 and its AMG siblings.
