Offered is a matching set of cream white sun visors removed from a 1971 Chevy 4WD pick-up.  Please see last photo for donor

Visors are STAINED -  First two photos in sunny outdoor lighting  ....photos 3,4.... indoor lighting.  Have scrubbed them fairly well and the remaining stains/ discoloration ... is very stubborn!   I used just soap/water... did not try bleach or anything else. 

Not smooth ...Some ridges

Corner hardware good but chrome finish is pretty much gone.

4 or 5 small cracks/tears near /on the bead edging (pic 6 representative)

I have removed the rods from the sleeves and freed (WD-40) up the swing pivot brackets...not too loose... or too tight...good.

Brackets will need a prep / repaint.

6 OEM  screws ...not in the best condition. (second from last pic)

May be other interior parts from this donor (pretty rough) please ask.

Cars of the future could be powered by seawater

Water from the sea could power cars of the future, if experiments currently being trialled by the US Navy prove to be successful. According to Jalopnik, the US Naval Research Laboratory is turning carbon dioxide from seawater into hydrogen, with the hope of fuelling its jets from alternative sources. Hydrogen cars ‘on sale next year’ Zero-emissions hydrogen fuel-cell cars on sale in 2015 – Hyundai If successful, researchers predict it’ll cost between $3 and $6 per gallon – that’s approximately 40p to 80p per litre.
