1971 Pontiac Quadrajet 7041263 Gto Firebird on 2040-parts.com

This is a Rochester Quadrajet carburetor marked 7041263. My research indicates that it's a 828 cfm High Output carburetor that is correct for 1971 manual transmission Pontiac GTOs and Firebirds.
These original, manual transmission carbs are very hard to find. This unit has been in a barn for decades. All parts move freely and it needs a rebuild. Please do your own research and ask all questions before bidding. |

Holden will sell cars in Australia beyond 2017
Mon, 23 Dec 2013When we heard about Holden's plans to shutter its Australian plants after 2017, we didn't know quite what to think. The General Motors subsidiary was cagey when it came to details, claiming that the brand would remain a presence in Australia -- even maintaining its design office there. Oddly, we couldn't get anyone to say, in black-and-white terms, what vehicles would be sold there under the Holden name after its plants close.
Visteon unveils C-Beyond concept
Wed, 09 Jun 2010Car Design News was recently invited to a preview of Visteon's C-Beyond concept, which makes its full debut at the Paris motor show in September. Based on a Citroën C4 Picasso, the C-Beyond is a showcase for new technologies – primarily focused on the car's interior, which permit a degree of flexibility and design expression. The C-Beyond simply looks like a C4 Picasso that incorporates new LED lighting technology.
Peugeot teases Onyx supercar concept
Tue, 11 Sep 2012Peugeot has teased a supercar concept dubbed the Onyx ahead of its world debut at this month's Paris motor show. The Onyx will be further developing the supercar concepts that we've seen the automaker unveil in the past – such as the SR1 convertible and the EX1 electric racer – and is likely to indicate Peugeot's future design language as well as that of the RCZ's successor. From the teaser images we can see that the Onyx has the classic supercar wedge shape with a cab-forward design and a rear spoiler that rises at high speeds.
