Here's a very good original used 1972-74 Mopar E-body (Challenger, Cuda) rallye dash gauge cluster woodgrain aluminum bezel (face plate) with metal backer plate it is attached to. Has no dents or dings. Nice and straight. Woodgrain is overall very good for an original Mopar piece of this age, other than a few small scratches, mainly in lower right bend area (see pictures). Black accent paint is all good, as is most of the bright trim accents. The metal backer is nice shape that the woodgrain bezel is glued to. All mounting tabs are there and good to attach this to the black plastic housing (that covers front of cluster).

Up for your auction bids is this very good condition original used 1972-74 era Mopar E-body (Challenger, Barracuda, Cuda) rallye gauge cluster woodgrain aluminum bezel (face plate),  that is attached to the metal backing plate, that holds it on to the black plastic housing -- that goes over the gauge cluster (note:  black plastic housing is NOT included with this however). Please Note:  I also have a very nice woodgrain 4-hole (with rear defogger / convertible power top) switch panel faceplate  in another of my current eBay listings. Check it out too if  you might need that piece as well to make a complete matched set.

Featured rally gauge cluster woodgrain bezel / face plate with metal backer plate has been stored away for many years inside on the shelf. It is a very straight piece, with no dents or dings.  No alterations or repairs.  All nice original finish, with good woodgrain finish and black accent paint  as well. There are a few light scratches in the woodgrain, mainly in the lower right side, near or in the curved corner area, but not real bad compared to many of these you see that are original--like this one is.  All bright aluminum accent trim around openings and outer perimeter looks very nice.  The metal backer plate (on real of this) is also in great shape, with nice attaching barbs for attaching this to the black plastic gauge cluster housing.

These very good original Mopar woodgrain face plate / bezels are getting hard to come by.  Don't miss this nice original used piece at my reasonable opening bid price--put in those good bids today!  Thanks for stopping in to look and bid!

Infiniti and Red Bull deal set to expand

Mon, 17 Oct 2011

Infiniti set to get deeper in to bed with Red Bull We’ve not been the biggest fans of Infiniti’s marketing efforts in the UK and Europe, but we had to concede that the decision for Infiniti to sponsor Red Bull in F1 had its upside. That upside is the decision to build the Infiniti FX50 Sebastian Vettel Edition as a production car, and the news that the feedback from the Vettel car will lead to a range of IPL (Infiniti Performance Line) cars which will be to Infiniti what AMG is to Mercedes and ‘M’ is to BMW. So the news that Infiniti is to up the ante with increased Red Bull sponsorship is good news, probably both for Infiniti and Red Bull.

Volvo wants to deliver stuff right to your car

Tue, 25 Feb 2014

If you've missed deliveries of items you've ordered online because you weren't home when the delivery person showed up (who knew they have the same working hours as you?), then you may be interested to hear that Volvo has a new system in development that could enable logistics companies to deliver things right to your car, whether you're there or not. The cost of missed parcel deliveries amounts to 1 billion Euros per year according to Volvo. This week at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the automaker showed off a system that would notify car owners, via a smartphone or tablet, when a delivery company wants to drop off or pick up something from their car.

Mazda 2 three-door (2008): first official pictures

Wed, 23 Jan 2008

By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 23 January 2008 14:26 Mazda will debut the three-door 2 at the Geneva Motor Show in early March. And while the five-door 2 hardly looks staid, and actually rather dynamic, the Japanese company is claiming the three-door will be even more sporty. Quite how this will be achieved Mazda doesn’t say and is remaining tight lipped until nearer show time.
