“Here's a very nice original used 1972-72 Challenger, Cuda (E-body Mopar) rallye gauge dash 4-switch panel woodgrain aluminum bezel (with no metal backing plate or black plastic housing they would attach to). This was used on a rear defogger car, but could also be modified to use on a power top convertible with that 4-switch rally dash switch panel. A nice straight piece, with no dents, dings, bad scratches or gouges, or alterations. The woodgrain is still very nice original, as ithe the black painted areas, and the aluminum accent band still looks good. Just glue this on to a steel backer plate, and you will be ready to attach this to a switch panel black plastic housing (not included here). Writing is still nice shape, and very easy to read. A lot cheaper than Taiwanese reproduction, and these actually are the right color and grain!”

Up for your auction bids is this very good condition original used 1972-74 Challenger, Barracuda, Cuda, (E-body Mopar) rallye dash 4-hole switch panel woodgrain aluminum bezel.  This is currently factory originally- labeled for the rear defogger 4th hole, but with a re-labeling, this could likely be also used for a 1970-71 E-body convertible with power top switch and rallye gauges.  Please note this bezel does not include the heavier gauge metal backer plate, that this bezel would normally glue onto, that holds bezel to the black plastic housing for switches (also not included here).  Please note:  I also have a very nice original used 1972-74 E-body rally gauge cluster rallye wood grain bezel / face plate, with its metal backing plate in another of my current eBay aucitons.  Be sure to put in a bid on that too, if you would like to get the matched pair  for your car.  I will discount shipping some if you would bid on and win them both. 

Featured woodgrain bezel is a nice straight piece, with nothing dented or dinged up.  The woodgrain is overall very nice.  There is a few light scratches, but much less than most of these of this age.  Still looks very nice in my opinion.  The black painted areas are all in nice shape, and not scratched up or worn / faded.  The white lettering is all nice and original over the various switch opens.  The little tabs on upper edge of panel that wrap around plastic housing piece are all good . All bright aluminum trim areas look good, and are not corroded or pitted up.  A nice looking piece for original Mopar of this age!

Be sure to put in those good bids today at my reasonable opening bid price on this hard to find nice piece.  Save good money over expensive Taiwanese reproductions, and have a piece you know will fit well and look right!  Satisfaction warranty.  Thanks for stopping in  to look and bid!

  The new Skoda Fabia Scout has launched in the UK We were a little underwhelmed when the Skoda Fabia Scout was revealed, and we really haven’t changed our minds. We can’t argue that Skodas don’t offer great value for money -  and they are very well bolted together – but the Skoda Fabia Scout seems to lack the substance to substantiate its promise. Based on the Skoda Fabia this is a ‘butched-up’ version featuring a raised ride height, added chunky bits of plastic and looks like it will be a great little crossover estate.

March is here, and things are warming up in the automotive world. On Monday Alfa Romeo teased the 4C interior ahead of the Geneva motor show, and we wound down after a sobering weekend of racing. We reviewed the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee on Tuesday and heard that the McLaren P1 supercar will sticker for $1.15 million when deliveries begin in early 2014.
