Up for auction is a 1972 Buick 455 carb, 800CFM.  This is the big boy.  The carb # is 7042240 MB  0212

I have seen info on the internet that this could be a Stage 1 carb.   I have also seen info that says it's not.  So, I can't confirm either way.

As you can see from the pics, carb looks clean.  Like it was rebuilt years ago and never used.  I don't know if it works, and don't know if everything is there.

Being sold as is, no warranties, no returns.  Thanks!

(I won't be able to ship until around 10-15-13, please keep that in mind!)

Vauxhall Adam Rocks baby Crossover ready for production

Wed, 19 Feb 2014

The Vauxhall Adam Rocks (pictured) ready to roll in to production At last year’s Geneva Motor Show we got the first look at the Vauxhall Adam Rocks Concept, a butch little ADAM with raised ride height, extra cladding and a cabrio roof as Vauxhall attempted to turn their latest city car in to a funky urban Crossover / baby SUV. And the Vauxhall Adam Rocks is back at Geneva this year only this time it’s a production car that should launch later in the summer – and it looks like it should do well. With a ride height raised by 15mm, retuned suspension, extended wheel arches and the required black plastic cladding needed to turn it in to a pseudo off-roader (and 17″ or 18″ alloys) the ADAM Rocks looks the part.

Jaguar XF is ‘Car of the Decade’

Mon, 22 Oct 2012

The Southern Guild of Motoring Writers has declared the Jaguar XF the car of the decade at the SGMW’s 10th anniversary event. Designed by Ian Callum, under Ford’s ownership, the XF demonstrated that Jaguar had finally realised that building cars that were a pastiche of past glories was no longer enough to guarantee sales. Under the skin, much of the Jaguar XF carried over from its predecessor – the Jaguar S Type – but it was in the execution that the XF demonstrated it was capable of giving Jaguar new life.
